I spent over 13 years working at Rightmove.co.uk, one of the UK’s most successful digital businesses, training managers and helping to make it a fabulous place to work for humans. I was a coach facilitator and senior trainer for Rightmove’s management training and induction programmes which were instrumental in creating and sustaining Rightmove’s small company culture.

We started out as a few people around a table in someone else’s office and over the next decade grew to nearly 400 people spread across two offices and a field sales team spread around the country.

Lots of businesses get big, but very few can maintain that vital ‘small company’ feel necessary to foster engagement, encourage innovation and develop entrepreneurial mindsets. We worked hard to train, nurture and secure a people-focused culture that resulted in switched on, engaged workforce, proud and responsible for delivering amazing results.
